Helen Koenig is a recent graduate of Western Washington University, with a Bachelor’s in Violin Performance and a minor in Biology.  Helen grew up in Seattle, attended the University of British Columbia for two years, then transferred to Western for the remainder of their degree.  Helen performs regularly with the Western Symphony Orchestra, the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra, and numerous chamber ensembles. Helen enjoys a variety of collaborative musical activities, including chamber music, symphony orchestra, and jamming with friends to explore non-classical genres like folk and jazz.  Helen strives to provide students with the technical ability and inspiration to follow their own musical desires.

 

Outside of music, Helen enjoys running around the beautiful trails in Bellingham, making funky foods, and dabbling in other forms of art.
